What’s the Child Dental Benefits Scheme?
The Child Dental Benefit Scheme is a government benefit that provides $1,095 towards basic dental costs for each eligible child over 2 calendar years. To be eligible to claim CDBS, you must:
- Have a child aged 2 to 17 years
- Receive certain Medicare payments at least once a year
- Choose eligible dental services
