Dr David Norcross
B.ch.D (UK)
Dr David Norcross became the principal dentist at Kelmscott Dental in 2011. Prior to joining our practice, he spent five years in a general practice in England before eventually relocating to Australia. He has extensive experience in many areas of dentistry including surgical, advanced restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr Norcross also has a keen interest in the safe removal of mercury amalgam fillings.
Dr Norcross graduated from Leeds University (England) in 2006, being awarded with a Bachelor of Dental Science. He remains up-to-date with the latest dental techniques, technologies and developments through post graduate education. In 2009, he completed an Advanced Restorative Course at the North of England Dental Academy. Following this, he completed a year-long modular course in Implant Dentistry accredited by the British Academy of Dental Implantology in 2010. More recently in 2013, Dr Norcross completed his Master Clinician in Implant Dentistry Programme gaining certificates from the Global Institute for Dental Education (gIDE) and UCLA.
Dr Norcross is a lecturer and mentor for MIS Implants and the Dental Implantology Academy (DIA). He delivers several dental implant training courses and live surgery demonstrations every year for new and emerging dentists, and places over 300 dental implants each year. His extensive training, skills and passion for implant dentistry, coupled with positive patient outcomes has earned Dr Norcross a favourable reputation as one of Perth’s best dentists placing implants.
Priding himself on his gentle approach and excellent patient manner, Dr Norcross is skilled with caring for even the most nervous dental patients. He wants to make coming to the dentist the most comfortable experience it can be, for every patient he sees. Dr Norcross and his associate dentists work closely with Dr Christine Troy offering various treatments under intravenous sedation. This includes simple and complex dental care for very nervous patients and the extraction of impacted wisdom teeth.
Dr. Norcross is available for cosmetic, surgical and dental implant consultations and treatments provided at Kelmscott Dental and sister clinics EVP Dental and Mount Lawley Dental. He also provides consultations for wisdom teeth removal and dental implants out of our dedicated implant clinic, Perth Dental Implant Centre.
Dr Abraham Thavamani
B. D. S. , PG CertPH., NZDREX
Dr Abraham Thavamani graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in India in 2004, before moving to NZ and gaining a Post Graduate Certificate in Public Health from the University of Auckland. In 2005, he completed his New Zealand Dentist Registration Examination (NZDREX). He worked for nearly 10 years in dental practices in Auckland, NZ before moving to Perth in 2015.
Dr Abraham has completed several postgraduate training programmes in restorative dentistry, dental implants, dental lasers, orthodontics including Invisalign® and endodontics (root canal therapy). He performs all aspects of general dentistry and has a special interest in root canal treatments, tooth extractions, cosmetic dentistry, crowns & bridges and restorative dental care.
Abraham has written a number of articles and conducted lectures for Henry Schein, NZ with pioneering work in Diagnocam, a diagnostic tool used in dentistry.
A holistic approach to dentistry, along with a warm and caring nature makes Abraham an asset to the Kelmscott Dental team.
Abraham is happily married to his lovely wife Ane and has two sons, Ammiel & Zuriel and two daughters, Kefira & Shifra. Outside of work, Abraham enjoys reading books, riding his bike and playing cricket. Abraham is also a Pastor and teaches bible studies to younger generations at his Church.
Dr Mohamed Soliman
BDS (Egypt)
Dr Mohamed Soliman joined the team here at Kelmscott Dental in 2017.
After graduating from Cairo University in Egypt with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 2004, he received his Australian qualification in Sydney in 2015 and has completed mini residency in prosthodontics in 2019.
Mohamed has general dentistry experience dating back to 2005 and a special interest in prosthodontics, endodontics, smile makeovers and Invisalign®. Mohamed thrives to make dental visits as pleasant as possible for all patients, he is extremely passionate about providing gentle, caring and pain free dentistry. He knows the value and importance of good communication, honesty and empathy with patients, so that they can make informed choices in order to achieve exceptional results.
Mohamed speaks two languages, English and Arabic. When away from dentistry, he likes to maintain his well-being through spending time with family, going to the gym and watching movies.
Dr Rainer Anderson
BSc (Melb), DMD (UWA)
Dr Rainer completed his undergraduate in Melbourne and went on to complete post graduate studies in Perth at the University of Western Australia. Rainer has been practising dentistry for several years, expanding his experience across various fields of dentistry including dental trauma, wisdom tooth removal surgery and other surgical procedures.
Rainer has a keen interest in implant dentistry and is spending time expanding his skills under Dr Norcross. In his spare time, Rainer enjoys playing water polo and all things music.
Dr Preeti Ahlawat

Dr Preeti is a passionate, caring and friendly dentist who graduated in India in 2009 and had the privilege of working in private practices in India and Singapore before migrating to Australia in 2014.
Preeti enjoys establishing trust and building rapport with her patients whilst guiding them through their care plans. She loves working with patients of all ages and has a keen interest in helping anxious and phobic patients.
Preeti enjoys all aspects of dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry and is a certified Invisalign® provider. She also practices dento-facial injectables with the use of muscle relaxants. This product is used to reduce pain and discomfort associated with bruxism, jaw clenching and temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJD). Facial injectables may also be used to treat fine lines, such as frown lines, crows feet and forehead.
Away from the practice, she enjoys travelling, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
Dr Ram Nair

Dr Ram is a WA local, he earned his degree from the University of Western Australia. He has gained extensive experience working in both private and public dental practices across WA, Tasmania, and Victoria.
In recent years, Dr. Ram has focused on his passion for root canal treatment, cosmetic dentistry, and implant dentistry, continually advancing his skills through ongoing development. He frequently travels across Australia and internationally to learn from leading experts in the field, ensuring he brings the latest knowledge and techniques to his patients.
In 2023, Dr. Ram achieved mastership status with both the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (AAIP).
Known for his warm and gentle approach, Dr. Ram helps patients feel calm and comfortable during their visits. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys playing sports and spending time with family, friends, and his pets.
Dr Charlie Rebello

Dr. Charlton Rebello earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2020.
In the past four years, Charlie has furthered his experience and skillset, completing various studies in composite veneers, injectables, dental implants and surgical extractions.
He is committed to prioritising the comfort, care, and peace of mind of his patients above all else. This patient-centered approach has earned him a reputation as a highly skilled dentist in East Victoria Park.
Outside of his practice, he enjoys hiking, Barbagallo racing, soccer and painting.
Dr Chistine Troy
MBBS FRACGP
Dr Christine Troy has more than 25 years’ experience as a Doctor. She received her Bachelor Degree in Medicine (MBBS) in Melbourne in 1994 and Post Graduate Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners FRACGP in 2010.
Dr Troy has worked exclusively in dental sedations since 2010. She provides intravenous sedation that allows patients to be able to have treatment in a safe and pain-free manner. Dr Troy monitors essential medical signs during patient procedures, including brain wave monitoring, to achieve a comfortable dental experience.
Since 2010, she has worked collaboratively with Dr Dave Norcross and his team of associate dentists. The Magic Sedations team includes Catherine (secretary and patient liaison), and Registered Nurses; Karine, Di and Kylie. Dr Troy also has an extensive range of experience including 10 years as a VMO in an emergency department, two years in hospital anaesthesia as part of the accredited Specialist Anaesthetist Training Program with ANZCA and has completed the requirements of the Joint Consultative Committees of ANZCA/RACGP/ACRRM to work as a GP Anaesthetist. In addition, she has been a generalist GP and worked in Palliative Care. She is a current educator for the training of doctors to becoP’s at WAGPET and is a Fellowshi Examiner for the RACGP.
Dr Troy’s technique allows deep sedation and pain relief tailored to each individual and dentist. She likes to work in collaboration with her patients, helping them to overcome past or present dental trauma, in the hopes of providing a pleasant and relaxed experience throughout treatment.
Mwelwa Kaweme
Hygienist, BSc OHT (Curtin)
Mwelwa graduated from Curtin University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Therapy. Mwelwa has worked in hygiene and therapy roles in both general and orthodontic settings in a number of clinics in Perth.
Mwelwa has a particular interest in preventative dentistry and periodontal care, as well as providing dental care for people living with special needs in a general dental setting.
Mwelwa is an advocate for individuals living with sickle cell disease and the need for better education and awareness of its management in emergency medicine. Outside of work, Mwelwa enjoys all aspects of interior design and home organisation and spends her spare time helping people to declutter their homes and create functional organised spaces.
Sal Haouchar
Hygienist, AssocDegree DentHyg (Curtin)
Sal’s dental career began working at Kelmscott Dental as a receptionist in 2009 before graduating with an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from Curtin University in 2011.
Sal prides herself in alleviating patients dental fear by adopting a gentle and caring approach ensuring that they have a positive and comfortable experience.
Sal’s passion lies in treating and preventing gum disease, building patient relationships and educating patients on the ways to care for their oral health.
When Sal isn’t looking after your oral health, she loves to bake and spend time exploring different cultures and experiences with her husband and two children.
Cass Jebinson
Oral Health Therapist, BDS (India) BSc OHT (Curtin)
Cass graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University in India as well as a Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Therapy at Curtin University.
Before migrating to Australia, Cass served as a dentist in a Christian Mission Hospital in India, providing endodontic and periodontal care to patients.
Cass is deeply passionate about helping patients overcome complex gum health issues as well as performing conservative dental restorations within the scope of oral health therapy.
Amongst Cass’s achievements, she has embarked on several outreach programs and missions within India educating schools and communities on oral health and providing care.
In her spare time, Cass enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and writing poetry.
Chloe Adams
Practice Manager Chloe graduated from DNA Kingston in Perth with a Certificate 4 in Dental Assisting, in 2018. Chloe has worked across several dental practices in various roles including sterilization nurse, dental nurse and front office coordinator. In July 2022, Chloe began her role as Practice Manager for Kelmscott Dental. She works to manage and develop both clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring the entire team is well-trained to deliver high-quality dental care to clients. Away from work, Chloe loves spending her time with her partner, young daughter and extended family. She’s an enthusiastic foodie who enjoys dining out at new restaurants and relaxing with a glass of wine over the weekend.
Sara McCormick
Clinical Manager
Sara began working as Head Nurse at Kelmscott Dental in 2017, before being promoted to Clinical Coordinator and then Clinical Manager across our three practices.
Gaining industry experience since 2012, Sara has extensive knowledge in the fields of implant and oral surgery. She works alongside Dr David Norcross, heading up dental photography and managing all clinical needs including the coordination and management of all stock and surgical equipment.
Sara runs the clinical training and development of staff in assisting with surgical procedures, ensuring the teams operate within QIP accreditation guidelines and protocols and provides ongoing mentoring and training to staff.
Sara lectures, coordinates and assists across MIS implant training courses run by Dr David Norcross for the Dental Implantology Academy (DIA).
Out of surgery, Sara works closely with the management team to develop and implement new clinical policies and procedures. She is also the Assistant Project Manager when it comes to the group’s surgery expansions and relocations.
