A body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) screening is a simple questionnaire used by healthcare practitioners to assess patient suitability for cosmetic surgery and non-surgical cosmetic procedures (such as cosmetic injectables).

Healthcare practitioners are required by law to adhere to guidelines set by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) screening, developed by the Medical Board of Australia.
